Rhubarb Gin

Discover this delicious home made rhubarb gin perfect for a warm Spring evening with friends.

    Ingredients and Method

    Ingredients

    • 1kg Rhubarb
    • 800ml Gin
    • 400g Sugar

    Method

    1. Cut the leaves off the rubarb and chop the stems into roughly 1 inch pieces.
    2. Put the rhubarb and the sugar in a 2 litre KilnerĀ® jar and leave for 24 hours.
    3. Add the gin, shake and leave for four weeks at room temperature, shaking every day.
    4. Strain and pour into either one large bottle or a few smaller ones to give as gifts. Enjoy!
