
Radish Pickle
This quick radish pickle recipe is easy to follow and will add a touch of tangy and sweet flavour to whatever dish you serve it with.
Serves 1 x 500ml Kilner® Jar.
Ingredients and Method
Ingredients
- 225g Radishes, thinly sliced
- 240ml Apple Cider Vinegar
- 80ml Water
- 40g Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black and pink peppercorns
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 Star anise
Method
- Put all the ingredients except the radishes in a pan and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes and then cool.
- Sterilise a 500ml jar.
- Add the radishes to the jar and fill with the brine.
- Seal tightly and keep in the fridge. Ready to eat in 1-2 hours, use within 2-3 weeks.
