Potato Milk

Potato milk is a super sustainable plant-based milk, that only requires few ingredients to make. This recipe is easy to follow and leaves you with a smooth, versatile milk that will last 2-3 days in the fridge.

Ingredients and Method

Ingredients

  • 3 Medium potatoes
  • 900ml of Water
  • 1-2 tbsp Ground almonds
  • 4 tbsp Honey
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

Method

  1. Peel the potatoes, cut them into quarters and boil them for around 15 minutes until they are soft.
  2. Drain the potatoes and put them into a blender with 750ml of water. Slowly add the remainder of the water when blending for a thinner texture if preferred.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients to the blender and blend for around 5 minutes until smooth. Strain through a cheesecloth.
  4. Pour into an airtight Kilner® Bottle and store in the fridge.
