Classic Guacamole

This simple yet delicious guacamole dish can be made in no time, taking only 10 minutes to make. Enjoy with tortilla chips.

Once mashed, keep in the Mash and Store Set to serve.

Ingredients and Method

Ingredients

  • 2 medium avocados
  • 1 fresh lime
  • 1/4 red onion
  • handful cherry tomatoes
  • 2-3 sprigs of coriander
  • 1 fresh small green or red chilli (optional)
  • salt & pepper to taste

Method

  1. Ensure avocados are ripe and ready to eat.
  2. Finely chop the red onion, tomatoes, coriander and chillies. Mix everything together apart from the chillies. Add lime juice then season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the silicone band to the mashing basket then place it on top of the jar.
  4. Scoop the avocado into the mashing basket and mash with the handled tool until you've reached the desired quantity and consistency.
  5. Remove the mashing basket then add the rest of the ingredients into the jar, combining gently.
  6. Add the chillies to taste.
  7. Add the lid to keep fresh in the fridge or serve from the jar directly.
