Flavoured Syrups

Vanilla Syrup


  • 250ml water
  • 250g sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract


Heat the water and the sugar in a pan on a medium heat. Stir until all the sugar has dissolved completely and the liquid is clear. If you’d prefer your syrup a little thicker, continue to heat and stir until some of the water evaporates and your reach the consistency you want.

Remove pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Using a funnel, carefully pour the contents of the pan in to a Kilner® 250ml Square Clip Top Bottle and keep in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
