Red Pepper Relish

This delicious red pepper relish is perfect served at a BBQ with kebabs or burgers. Recipe by KarenHB. 

Makes 1 x 350ml Kilner® jar.

Ingredients and Method


  • 3 Red peppers
  • 1 Small red onion
  • 1 Red chilli pepper
  • 25ml Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sugar


  1. Fry the onions in a pan slowly until soft
  2. Add the red peppers and chilli and cook for a further 5 minutes
  3. Add the balsamic vinegar and cook until you have a rich sticky consistency
  4. In the meantime sterilise your jar, fill with the relish and store in the fridge
  5. Enjoy within a few days
