Homemade Christmas Fudge
Bake the perfect homemade Christmas gift by following our easy classic fudge recipe. Store in a Kilner® jar and gift to someone special.
Ingredients and Method
- 200g Brown sugar
- 200g Caster sugar
- 100ml Milk
- 397g Condensed Milk
- 100g Butter
- Pinch of salt
- Place all ingredients into a large saucepan over a low heat. Stir continuously until all ingredients are dissolved. Bring the mixture to a boil and stir constantly, until it's thick and caramel coloured.
- Make sure the mixture doesn't catch on the bottom of the pan and burn.
- Remove from the heat and beat the mixture well until it starts to thicken. Pour the mixture into a tray and leave to cool.
- Before the fudge sets fully, carve lines on the top of the fudge to create squares, then cut when cold. The fudge will stay fresh in an airtight Kilner® jar for up to 3 weeks.
